AFRICA DIASPORA REVIVAL FUND NPC (ADRF Foundation, ADRFF)
DELIVERY POLICY

Effective Date: August 2026

1. Purpose

This Delivery Policy explains how products purchased through the Africa Diaspora Revival Fund NPC (“ADRF Foundation, ADRFF”, “we”, “us” or “our”) website are processed, dispatched and delivered.

ADRF Foundation supports African communities, entrepreneurs, producers and social-impact initiatives. Products offered through our platform may therefore originate from different producers, communities and locations.

2. Order Processing

Orders will be processed once payment has been successfully received and confirmed.

Customers will receive confirmation of their order using the contact details provided during checkout.

Where an item is unavailable requires additional preparation time, or cannot reasonably be delivered to the selected destination, ADRFF will contact the customer to agree on an appropriate resolution.

3. Delivery Areas

ADRFF may deliver products within South Africa and, where available, to other African and international destinations.

Delivery availability depends on:

  • the type of product purchased;
  • the delivery destination;
  • courier or logistics service availability;
  • customs and import requirements; and
  • any legal or regulatory restrictions applicable to the product.

Availability of international delivery will therefore be confirmed during the ordering process or directly with the customer where necessary.

4. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges, where applicable, will be communicated to the customer before the order is finalised.

Charges may vary depending on the destination, weight, dimensions and nature of the products being delivered.

International customers may also be responsible for customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by authorities in the destination country unless ADRFF specifically states otherwise.

5. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times will depend on the product, its location and the customer's delivery address.

ADRFF will make reasonable efforts to dispatch and deliver orders within the estimated timeframe communicated to the customer. However, delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside ADRFF's reasonable control, including courier delays, customs processing, weather, transport disruptions or other logistical constraints.

6. Fresh and Perishable Products

Fresh produce and other perishable products may only be available for delivery within designated geographical areas.

ADRFF may restrict delivery of these products where transportation time or conditions could affect product quality or safety.

Customers should inspect fresh or perishable products promptly upon receipt and report any delivery-related problems as soon as reasonably possible.

7. Delivery of Crafts, Clothing and Other Non-Perishable Products

Crafts, artifacts, clothing, packaged products and other non-perishable goods may be delivered through ADRFF's approved courier or logistics providers.

Some products are handmade or produced by community-based enterprises. Consequently, preparation and dispatch times may vary and will be communicated where applicable.

8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information, including their name, physical delivery address, telephone number and any information reasonably required to complete the delivery.

ADRFF will not be responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information supplied by the customer.

9. Failed or Unsuccessful Delivery

Where delivery cannot be completed because the recipient is unavailable or the delivery information supplied is incorrect, the courier may attempt redelivery or return the order.

Any additional delivery charges arising from circumstances attributable to the customer may be payable by the customer.

10. Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Orders

Customers should notify ADRFF as soon as reasonably possible if an order:

  • arrives damaged;
  • contains an incorrect product;
  • is incomplete; or
  • has not arrived within the expected delivery period.

ADRFF will investigate the matter with the relevant supplier, community producer or delivery provider and determine the appropriate resolution in accordance with ADRF's Returns and Refund Policy and applicable consumer protection requirements.

11. Risk and Delivery

An order will be regarded as delivered when it has been delivered to the delivery address supplied by the customer and accepted by the customer or another person reasonably authorised to receive it.

12. Protection of Personal Information

Customer information collected for fulfilment and delivery will be handled in accordance with ADRFF's Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation, including South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) where applicable.

Information necessary to fulfil an order may be provided to authorized couriers, logistics and fulfilment partners solely for purposes associated with processing and delivering the order.
